The Children’s Lending Library of Florence!
Originally founded in 1973 to cater to the children of the
English-speaking community, today the Library’s resources of books,
videos and DVDs in English are utilized by the
Florence
community as well. The Library also holds a children’s party at
Easter, Halloween and Christmas which gives both parents and children a
chance to meet and enjoy some of the games and activities we provide.
The
library is open to the public from mid September through June.
On
Monday from
11am to 12pm.
Wednesdays
from 11am to 1.30pm and 4pm to 6pm .
Sundays from
10.00am to 1pm.
We
are generously
housed in the undercroft of the
American
Church
, in Via B. Rucellai, 9.
